“Parenthood is the ultimate exposure to uncertainty. Each person’s journey in parenthood is unique. What might work for one family might not work for another. However, much of the advice given is framed as the “correct” or “best way.” This content is difficult to navigate for any parent, but it is especially taxing for new parents whose mental health may already be suffering. The truth is that there is no perfect way to parent, and there is no perfect parent. I love partnering with clients to help them accept their humanity, discover ways to live their values, ditch decisions made in fear, and find worth in what they individually bring to the table.”
